Green Light Insurance Inc. and Motorcycle Insurance Agency Inc. are owned by Ed Otto in Chicago Illinois. Ed founded Green Light Insurance in March 1994. He is an avid motorcyclist with over 40 years riding experience. A specialist in endurance long distance riding events, he is Vice-President and Treasurer of the Iron Butt Association (IBA). His penchant for long distance riding began in 1967 when he took his first long distance ride to Alaska and back.

Ed completed IBA rallies in 1991 and 1995 and was the rally master in 1997. In the 1995 rally he placed in the top third in the standings while riding a Honda Helix scooter. An accomplishment some say was incredible, others say was crazy!

Since then, Ed continues to be an active member in the IBA promoting  safe long distance riding events throughout America. With over 1.8 million motorcycle miles logged, be sure that he is an expert in the insurance needs of all levels of riders!
